The Brief

The students and college at Jesus College asked us to take a look at their Middle Common Room (MCR).  It had been decorated by the students in the past, and was not a space they were particularly fond of.  They wanted to create a more restful environment, witha more grown up feel that would reflect the tradition of the college whilst not feeling stuffy for the students.  

The Result

We created a scheme that drew on the colours of the college, but in a more muted tone.  Flexibility in the furnishings was a key requirement, so we made a range of mix and match seating to include modular chairs and sofas, cubes and window seats.
