Case study 1 – Preparing a
family home for sale

The brief

This much loved family home had been designed by an architect in the 60s and was infact a show case property at the time.  When the current owners came to sell, they needed some help to freshen up the look without breaking the bank. The property had been for sale for some time, and the only offer had been well under the asking price.

The result

We redecorated throughout, replaced the carpets to freshen up each room and cleared the clutter – 3 skips full!  We utitlised lots of the artwork etc but used it sparingly, we also intoduced new curtains and accessories to some of the rooms to bring the look up to date.  The result was a 500% return on investment for our client, and a sale in 2 months which was just below the asking price!

Our clients comments

Since staging the property we are in receipt of an acceptable offer for our vendor.
